INFORMATION NOTICE PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF EU REGULATION 679/2016

For Hotel Molino Rosso S.r.l., your privacy and the security of your personal data are of utmost importance. Therefore, we collect and process them with the greatest care and attention, adopting specific and appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure full security of the processing.
We hereby inform you, pursuant to Art. 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR" or "Regulation") and the Privacy Code ("Privacy Code"), as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 (collectively, the "Legislation"), that the processing of your personal data is carried out in a manner suitable to guarantee security and confidentiality and is performed using paper, computer, and electronic supports, as detailed in this information notice.

The processing of your personal data is carried out by Hotel Molino Rosso S.r.l. (hereinafter also referred to as "Hotel Molino Rosso" or "Controller"), with registered office at Via Provinciale Selice, 49, 40026 Imola (BO), in its capacity as Data Controller pursuant to and for the purposes of the Regulation.

3. Type of Data Processed, Purposes, and Legal Basis for Processing
The personal data that the Company processes are those you provide while browsing or using the online services offered by the Company via the website www.hotelmolinorosso.com.
The Company may collect data about you such as personal identification data (name and surname), e-mail, phone number, your requests, and browsing data. Special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) or data relating to criminal convictions and offenses (Art. 10 GDPR) are not processed.

Your personal data, once collected, are processed for the following purposes:

A) Monitoring your user experience of our websites and services, as well as ensuring the correct functioning of our web pages and their content. Processing for these purposes is based on the legitimate interest of the Controller and does not require specific consent.

B) Complying with obligations provided by laws, regulations, or European legislation. Processing for these purposes is necessary for the fulfillment of legal obligations and to provide the requested service; it does not require specific consent.

C) Subscription to our Newsletter service. Processing for these purposes is carried out based on the specific and free consent provided by the user.

D) Direct promotional activities, including the periodic sending of newsletters and other promotional tools to the e-mail address spontaneously provided during Site registration. Processing for this purpose is carried out with specific consent, except for commercial communications relating to products and/or services similar to those already purchased/subscribed to by the user, for which processing is based on a legitimate interest of the Controller.

Personal data are processed exclusively by specifically authorized personnel (Art. 4 par. 10 of the Regulation) who have been adequately trained.

4. Processors (Art. 28) and Data Recipients
Your personal data will also be transmitted to third parties we utilize (e.g., financial operators, internet providers, IT services, consulting firms, cloud providers). These subjects have been selected by us and offer adequate guarantees of compliance with data protection rules. When they process data on behalf of Hotel Molino Rosso, they are appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 of the Regulation.
Your data may also be communicated to other Group companies for administrative purposes. Personal data will not be disclosed or shared with third parties for their own promotional purposes.

5. Mandatory or Optional Nature of Data Provision
Providing data for purposes A) and B) is mandatory. Failure to provide them will make it impossible for the Company to establish a relationship with you.

Providing data for purposes C) and D) is optional. Failure to provide them will make it impossible to subscribe to the newsletter or receive promotional offers.

6. Data Transfer Outside the EU
Some third parties may be based outside the European Union. Such transfers are carried out to States that offer an adequate level of protection as established by the European Commission, or through specific agreements containing Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission.

7. Data Retention
Services data: Stored for the duration of the service until termination or cancellation by the User.

Newsletter/Marketing data (Purposes C and D): Stored until the user requests to stop the activity and, in any case, within 2 years from the last interaction with the Company.
After these periods, data will be permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

8. Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights as guaranteed by the Regulation:
Access and Rectification (Art. 15-16): Right to access and request corrections/integrations.
Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Art. 17): Right to request deletion of data.
Restriction of Processing (Art. 18): Right to limit processing in case of disputes.
Data Portability (Art. 20): Right to receive data in a structured format.
Objection (Art. 21): Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Complaint (Art. 77): Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy).

9. Security Measures
The Company adopts adequate technical, logical, and organizational security measures to prevent damage, accidental loss, alteration, and unauthorized use of data.

10. Amendments to this Information Notice
This privacy policy may undergo changes over time due to new regulations or the evolution of our services. We invite you to periodically check the contents. The updated version will always be published on the Company’s website.
